University of Nebraska Medical Center, Nebraska Nanomedicine Production Plant Clean Room Suite
The Nebraska Nanomedicine Production Plant (NNPP) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is a state-of-the-art facility that plays a key role in the development and production of novel nanoformulations and new drug applications. The plant helped UNMC researchers develop a potential new HIV treatment.
Clark & Enersen designed a new clean room suite inside the Lied Transplant Center to provide cGMP production for Phase 1 clinical studies. Our design of the suite included a cleanroom capable of ISO 5 (class 100) air quality, aseptic fill and finish, and FDA-compliant lyophilization. Additionally, it provides temperature-controlled reagent storage and a wide variety of specialized equipment for flexible research and development. The space was configured with multiple utilities and infrastructure to accommodate the ever-changing needs of NNPP’s institutional and pharmaceutical partners.
